My passion project is Pomegranate Letterpress and it’s something that I will do for the rest of my life. Ink as they say is now in my veins. Collecting, maintaining and printing on our vintage presses with the collection of wood and metal type is a very rewarding experience.
2015 / Pomegranate Letterpress / Grimsby Wayzgoose Anthology Signature. Part of our letterpress endeavour is the printing community we have become part of. And the big yearly show for us that is more about the hang with other printers than show sales, is the Grimsby Art Gallery Wayzgoose. All the printers are invited to add a print signature to the leather-bound anthology book, that is then sold as fundraising for the gallery. In 2015, I decided to do hand-carved lino signature and we themed it the protection of Ontario wildlife using the 1960-70’s song for Ontario. This was an amazingly rewarding project that allowed me to tap into my artistic side while merging with my typography, design and print side.
